lva Sanger Godshaw Levy was born in 1910 to a Jewish family in Waco,Texas. She was a member of the Texas Fine Arts Association, the Texas Water Color Society and the Southwestern Watercolor Society. Levy exhibited at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, TX, The Witte Museum in San Antonio, TX and Laguna Gloria in Austin, TX. Levy won numerous purchase prizes from the Texas Watercolor Society. She died in In 1994, she died in Waco, TX at the age of 84.
